FOR ONE-PERSON BUSINESSES IN SOUTH AFRICA

You do the work. Due does the billing.

When you run the business on your own, billing is the job that slips. Due sends every invoice on time, keeps track of who has paid and reminds people politely when they're late. Catch up once, then stay up to date in minutes a month.

No card needed. Free for up to 5 clients after that.

WHO IT'S FOR

The one-person business that's behind on billing

You're the boss, the worker and the admin department. The work gets done; the invoicing happens late at night, if it happens at all. Sound familiar?

Made for personal trainers, tutors, music teachers, coaches, bookkeepers, gardeners, cleaners, IT support and landlords with a few flats: anyone on their own who bills the same people every month. Tell Due what you do and it calls your people clients, tenants or parents.

HOW IT WORKS

Set it up once. It runs every month.

  1. STEP 01

    Add your clients

Type them in or upload your spreadsheet. Each one gets their own payment reference, like OSR-0001, and what they pay each month.

  2. STEP 02

    Invoices go out by themselves

Before each due date Due makes the invoices, with your bank details and their reference, and sends them on WhatsApp or email. Or check them first and send with one tap.

  3. STEP 03

See who paid, remind who didn't

Record EFTs as they arrive and Due puts them against the right invoices. Late payers get a polite reminder, never a nasty one. Statements are a click away.

WHAT YOU GET

Everything for getting paid, nothing you don't need

POPIA

Respectful by design

WhatsApp messages only go to people who agreed to them, and Due records when and how they agreed. A reply of STOP stops them at once, and every email has an unsubscribe link. When someone asks what you hold about them, download it in one click, or erase it.

PRICING

Pay for the clients you bill

Start with 30 days of Pro, free. Prices are per month and include VAT. Change or cancel any time.

An active client is someone you're billing now. Paused and past clients don't count. Cards are processed securely by Payfast.

QUESTIONS

Good to know

I'm already behind. Can I still start?

Yes, that's who Due is for. Add your clients, then add anything they already owe as a once-off charge and it goes on their next invoice. From then on, invoices and reminders go out by themselves.

I work on my own. Is Due overkill?

No. Due is made for one person with little time: set up in one sitting, then a few minutes a month to record the payments that come in. If you get help later, invite them.

Does Due take payments for me?

No. Your clients pay you by EFT straight into your own bank account, using the reference on their invoice. Due never holds your money: it tells you who has paid and who hasn't.

Do my clients need to download anything?

No. They get their invoice and reminders on WhatsApp or by email, with a link to view it and download a PDF.

What about VAT?

If you're VAT registered, add your VAT number and choose whether each amount includes VAT, excludes it or has none. Invoices show the VAT at 15%.

Is WhatsApp allowed under POPIA?

Yes, with consent. Due records when and how each client agreed to WhatsApp messages, and stops straight away if they reply STOP. You can download or erase a client's information whenever they ask.

Can I bring my clients from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Upload a CSV from Excel or Google Sheets, match the columns, and check the rows before anything is added.

What happens after the free trial?

Choose a plan and pay by card through Payfast, or stay on Free for up to 5 clients. Cancel any time; you keep your plan until the end of the month you've paid for.

This month's invoices could be going out tonight.
